Summer thermal knit in combed cotton — a fine waffle rib that traps a thin layer of air against the skin. It is the same principle as a waffle weave, applied to a knit.

The quarter-zip runs on a matched metal pull, set into a flat placket so nothing catches under a jacket. Cuffs and hem are ribbed to match the body. There is no contrast tipping on this one, which is deliberate — the texture is already doing the work, and adding trim would make it busy.

The rib runs uninterrupted from collar to hem — there is no yoke seam across the back to break it — and the hem band is ribbed to match, so the body holds its shape instead of flaring over trousers.

Fit and sizing

Cut close through the shoulder and clean through the body. A considered fit, not a slim one. If you are between sizes or prefer room, take the larger. Zip closed with stone trousers and loafers, it reads almost formal. Zip half open with denim, it does not.
